Yesterday, the Universities for North East England (UNEE) Partnership headed to Westminster to spotlight the vital role our region’s universities play in driving innovation, opportunity, and economic growth.
Great to see cross-party recognition of the unique strengths each institution brings as well as the vital importance of collaboration.
As Chris McDonald MP put it, this is an “incredibly important alliance” — and potentially a model for how universities can work together to shape the future of their regions.
